  This work stubbornly resists any easy classification. It may be read as a theatrical work, as a philosophical monologue, or simply as what it originally was — the journal of a voice searching for its place in the world. From the core of these entries emerges a creature — an experimental chimera bearing a human brain within the body of an animal — which acquires consciousness and observes the world of its creators. From this starting point unfolds a path of reflection extending far beyond the protagonist’s own exis-tence. As it speaks, the creature examines with disarming clarity fundamental concepts of human existence: identity, freedom, the ethics of science, the nature of reality, and the relationship between the human being and the other living and non-living expressions of the universe. The question that runs through the work ultimately concerns not the chimera but humanity itself: what does it mean to be human, and what are the boundaries that separate us from the beings we create or use? Where does the animal give way to inert matter? And at what point does matter acquire consciousness?The voice of the BEING shifts between lucidity and poetic intensity. At times it speaks like a scientist, at others like a philosopher, and at others like a creature encountering the world for the first time with something resembling childlike innocence. In this way the journal becomes a stage, and the stage in turn becomes a space where the limits of the very notion of human existence are tested. The BEING may not simply be the result of an experiment; it may instead be seen as the logical consequence of a civilization that seeks to control nature, redesign the body, and transcend its biological limits. A civilization of Homo sapiens attempting to understand the world through a system of symbols and concepts — a system that often ends by alienating and imprisoning it within an invisible cage: the obligation to faith-fully perform the role of the “human”. Yet as the narrative unfolds, the focus gradually shifts from the experiment itself to the consciousness that emerged from it. The BEING observes humanity from a distance that often proves more penetrating than human self-awareness. At this point the work takes an unexpected turn: the creature created to serve humanity begins instead to examine it. The experimenter and the experiment exchange places. The result is a text that moves between philosophical allegory and existential tragedy. The story of a chimera gradu-ally becomes a story about human consciousness — about the anxiety of self-knowledge, the desire for freedom, and the difficulty of accepting one’s place in the world. And in this shift lies perhaps the sharpest dimension of the work: the chimera no longer seems to be searching for its place in the human world. Instead, it appears to examine whether that world can still justify its own existence. From that moment onward, the reader — or the spectator — is no longer merely observing a story. They are already inside the experiment. To say more would perhaps spoil the magic of the work. Whether the BEING of the journal ever truly existed — and in what way — is left to the reader or the spectator to decide, and to grant it the place in the world that belongs to it.
