ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Cita Lundin has been passionate about giving families the tools, trust and confidence to dare to give birth ever since she became a midwife in 1992. She saw early on the power of how parents absorbed knowledge and thus gained the desire and opportunity to preserve the naturalness of giving birth to their child, instead of being delivered. Cita has strengthened thousands of Magplasket mothers and many hundreds of Profylax couples and helped them prepare for one of the biggest occasions in life - when their child is born. She now educates and inspires midwives all over Sweden in childbirth preparation and physiological births. Cita was one of the midwives who worked at Sahlgrenska Hospital's ABC unit in Gothenburg during the 90s. One of the few midwife-led units in the country where couples gave birth on their own terms. She is now active as a midwife both in hospitals and in the homes of the birthing families. Together with her husband, she has carried and given birth to four children.
