And why does there seem\u003cbr\u003eto be a greater acceptance at other times that demonstrating exact\u003cbr\u003eresults might not be possible?\u003cbr\u003eThis dissertation contributes to knowledge on the reasons behind the\u003cbr\u003equest to report on results but also on what happens when results\u003cbr\u003eare not reportable. Four similar ‘results initiatives’, launched and\u003cbr\u003eimplemented within Sida in 1971, 1981, 1998 and 2012 are studied.\u003cbr\u003eIt is shown that despite that all four initiatives have encountered\u003cbr\u003edifficulties with non-use of the results information, the initiatives\u003cbr\u003ehave been a way to show that the organization is doing the best it can\u003cbr\u003eto demonstrate results.
